"The richest man in Babylon" [Book]
I read the book "The richest man in Babylon". This book was written a long ago. However, it is still bestseller in the world.
This book says the following,
1) You save money one tenth of that you earn.
2) You must not pay more than you earn.
3) You need to have money make money without working.
4) You must work hard. It's the most important resource to gain money.
This is almost the same that the book "Rich Dad, Poor dad" says.
I recognize there is universal truth with regards to money.

Linux Mint is great. [Computer]
I installed Linux Mint 14 (Nadia) in my second computer. It's quite nice. I love it. While I use this distribution, I began to think Linux mint may be better than Ubuntu Linux. I understood why a lot of users move to Linux Mint from Ubuntu Linux. Linux Mint has a very familiar interface which we use in Windows Xp or Windows Vista and 7. And one more, it's user interface is quite beautiful. Linux Mint is my favorite distribution of Linux.

"Emotional Intelligence” written by Daniel Goleman [Book]
I read the book "Emotional Intelligence" written by Daniel Goleman. Its Japanese title is "EQ (IQ of heart)".
The book says that one of factors which makes you succeed in life is not ”Intelligence Quotient (IQ)" but
"Emotional Intelligence (EQ)". If you build up EQ well, you can control your emotion and succeed in life. This is the point of the book. It is almost the same that "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People" says. According to the book, one of the seven important habits is to control emotion and obey your rational mind. I recognize that success require to take over emotion. It is sometimes difficult for me.

Used PCs are very cheap. [Computer]
I'm considering to buy a used note book computers. They are very cheap. Off course, there are some risks such as dirty, slow and so on. However, they cost only about 20 thousand yen though they were sold at 60 thousand yen three or four years ago.
I think that they are used in offices. I guess used shops purchase a lot of used computers when companies replace their computers. So, their OS sometimes enterprise edition.
I also considering to buy the newest edition of PS3. My PS3 is old and the first edition. But, it costs about 30 thousand yen. So, I think it is wiser to buy a used note book computer.
Or should I buy a notepad such as iPad or Nexus7?
Anyway, I need to consider carefully.

I am enthusiastic in buying old books in Amazon.co.jp. They are very cheap. When they were published four or five years ago, you only pay the delivery cost (250 yen).
Especially professional books which cost 5,000 yen or more if they are new books are very cheap. You can buy the old edition of those professional books at 100 or less price.
It is very fun to search books which I want to read. But, I think I use more time to read books not to buy or search the books.

Callan Method New (2012) Edition [English]
Callan method is now renewed to 2012 edition. I also changed my lesson to the new edition at the stage 4. Certainly the new edition is up to date. The old edition has some old expressions such as "whilst", "Master", "Have I two ears?" and etc.
However, the ebook of the new edition is strictly controlled by DRM. So, I cannot print out and copy the ebook to other computers. I can read it in only one computer. It can be read with using Adobe Digital Edition. (According to Adobe, it can be reinstalled or copied by Adobe ID. But, I cannot understand the details about how to do that.)
This is very inconvenient for me. The books of the old editions are a usual PDF file. So, I can use it in several computers.

I'm irritated by my English Skill. I cannot improve my English skill as I want to. I started again Callan method in September. I am in the stage 4 of Callan. I cannot feel my progress.
So, I'm considering a short stay in Philippines while the Golden Week. But, it'll be only one week. I think that is not enough for improvement of English skill. However, I want to improve my English skill.

Linux Mint 14 Nadia [Computer]
I installed Linux Mint 14 Nadia. It is certainly refined user interface. It's like Windows7 or Windows XP. Some people don't like Ubuntu Unity and move to Linux Mint. The user interface of Linux Mint is superior to the Unity of Ubuntu as a desktop PC. Its looks are quite beautiful.
However, I still keep using Ubuntu as a main Linux OS. I am used to it.

I bought a music from "mora". [Music]
I bought a music by on-line for the first time. I used "mora" website. I was thinking which website would be used "mora" or "iTunes Store". I chose "mora" because the quality of its music is a little bit better than that of "iTunes Store". And, I don't like to use the software "iTunes".

Another way to disable Shopping Lens in Ubuntu [Computer]
I found another way to disable Shopping Lens in Ubuntu 12.10.
The previous way to disable Shopping Lens is deleting Shopping Lens itself. The new way is easier than the previous way. And there is no need to delete Shopping Lens.
The path to the menu of the switch:
"System Setting" - "Privacy" - "Query in Dash" - "Including On-Line-Query"
Turn off the "Including On-Line-Query".
